Unitarian Universalists everywhere rally to fight for justice. Ending poverty, transgender rights, racial equity, women's equality, accessibility and inclusion...all of these continue to need our attention and our dedication in an increasingly authoritarian world. But if we are able to talk about something like "healthcare as a human right" why are we so reluctant to talk about love...the primary and most basic human need...the same way?
Our guest preacher this Sunday is the Rev. Adam Lawrence Dyer. Adam serves as lead minister of First Parish in Cambridge, Massachusetts. A former member of All Souls Church, Adam is the author of Love Beyond God, a collection of poetry and reflections on the intersection of black identity and liberal religion. Adam is a graduate of Princeton University and the Pacific School of Religion. Please join us as we welcome Adam back to All Souls Church!
