Welcome to All Souls Church, Unitarian, In Washington, DC. We are a welcoming, diverse, and vibrant community where we love, respect, and care for one another. We invite people of all races, classes, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and ages, as well aas those from varied faith journeys to join us.

Interested in becoming a member of All Souls Church, Unitarian?

Deciding to join All Souls is a commitment – one that we hope will enrich your life. All Souls encourages the following four expectations of all its members:

  • Worship regularly at Sunday services
  • Serve the church
  • Connect with other All Souls congregants
  • Support All Souls with generous financial contributions

Step 1: Introduction

Learn and ask questions about Unitarian Universalism and All Souls Church. This session takes place after service (at 10:45 am and 12:30 pm), is informal, and lasts less than hour. Location: Eaton Room

  • January 9
  • February 13
  • March 13
  • April 10
  • May 1

Step 2: Orientation

This session provides prospective members with the opportunity to learn more about Unitarian Universalism, All Souls Church, and what being a member means.  Those who choose to join can sign the Membership Book (though there is no obligation), make their pledge of financial contribution, and have their picture taken for the member directory.  Location: Eaton Room

  • Two-part multigenerational sessions (childcare provided)
    1. Sunday, January 30, 10:45 am to 12:30 pm
    2. Sunday, February 6, 10:45 am to 12:30 pm
  • Saturday, February 26 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Tuesday, March 15 – 6:30 to 9:00 pm
  • Saturday, April 16 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Tuesday, May 10 – 6:30 to 9:00 pm

Step 3: New Member Sunday

New members are introduced and formally welcomed to the community through an ingathering ceremony during a Sunday service
