Now in its seventh year, the All Souls Weekend on the Bay is the opportunity for congregants to come together for spiritual reflection, relaxation, and outdoor fun. Participants have been most thankful for the opportunity to create new connections and strengthen established friendships. Join us as we enjoy the natural beauty of the Chesapeake Bay and practice creating Beloved Community.

What does the cost cover?

Your registration fee includes Friday and Saturday night lodging at Tockwogh, a YMCA camp about two hours from All Souls, pizza on Friday night, three meals on Saturday, and breakfast and BBQ on Sunday. Workshops

Workshop offerings are expanded this year; a list can be found at the Weekend on the Bay table. Contact Eric Hoy at EricHoy@aol.com for more info.

What are the sleeping accommodations like?

Each lodging option requires you to bring your own bed linen and pillow(s). Pictures and floor plans will be available at the Weekend on the Bay table in Pierce Hall each Sunday.

  • Tenting: There is a limited amount of space for bring-your-own tenting. You’ll share cabin shower houses.
  • Cabins: Nice but rustic, unheated, 8–12 single beds in each. You’ll take a walk through the dewy grass each morning to get to the bathroom/shower house. A family or group can request a cabin all to itself.
  • Cottages: Each cottage has three bedrooms, which sleep three people each. Each room is completely private and has its own bathroom with shower. Each cottage has a small living room with fireplace and a front porch with patio swings. Couples may reserve a cottage room at a premium cost (because of the empty bed).
  • The Lodge: This building has three dormitory rooms with 8–9 single beds in each. The Lodge has a living room and four porches. Each room has a bathroom with two toilets, two sinks, and two showers. The rooms are separated by partitions but not completely private from one another.
  • Tickwogh: This building is a large attractive meeting space surrounded by heated sleeping rooms. Each has one or two bunk beds and three single beds, plus a bathroom with two sinks, two showers, and one toilet. Doors open out onto the wraparound porch (on the main level) or to the meadow (downstairs). It is the farthest from the Dining Hall but extremely accessible, having no steps or varied levels on the main floor.
